We welcome you to attend one of our monthly membership meetings and see what we are all about.  Each meeting features a monthly speaker on subjects pertinent to industry and related issues.

OBJECTIVES

  • To develop efficiency in the insurance business through educational programs.
  • To encourage and foster high ethical standards in business relations.
  • To promote the spirit of friendship and service among all people in the Insurance Industry.


EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Communicate with Confidence – a series of ten sessions providing training in public speaking through delivery of prepared and impromptu speeches. An opportunity to develop poise, self-confidence and improved speaking skills.

Leadership Development Program – a series of eight sessions on oral and written communication, goal setting, decision making, delegation, mentoring and conducting effective meetings. The program is geared to developing leadership abilities both personally and professionally.

Underwriting for Non-Underwriters – two sessions designed to show the type of information that underwriters need to rate and underwrite both personal and commercial risks and to illustrate the importance of completed applications.

For renewing members the annual dues for the 5/1/2016- 4/30/2017 term is $60.  
For new members the dues are $85, which includes a one-time $25 IWOB New Member Fee. 
New members joining after Nov. 1st of any year term will pay 1/2 annual dues + the one time initiation fee = $55.00
